Posted by Editor @ 9:08 PM, Sunday Dec 16th, 2007

Smile!  When we’re nervous or uncertain, we often forget to smile.  A lot of us also have a tendency to think it’s necessary to be overly serious during a job interview.  While job interviews are serious business, it’s also good to smile as much as possible.  This gives an interviewer a much more positive impression of you than if you remain solemn from the beginning to the end of the interview.  So smile as often as you feel it’s appropriate.

Interview Tip #18

Posted by Editor @ 9:02 PM, Sunday Dec 16th, 2007

Make sure that you’re interviewing with a company that you really do want to work for and one where you believe you’d be a valuable employee.  Research the company well, and if possible, talk to current employees of the company.  It’s a waste of your time and the interviewer’s to interview for a job that you don’t truly want.
